Bengaluru FC fight back to beat Gokulam Kerala 2-1 in Super Cup

BHUBANESWAR, Odhisa: ISL runners-up Bengaluru FC sealed their Super Cup quarterfinal spot late into the game by beating I-League side Gokulam Kerala FC 2-1.

The Kerala side shot into the lead through Henry Kisseka in the 33rd minute when Macedonian international Hristijan Denkovski had set him through, but strikes from Miku (70’) and Udanta Singh (90+5’) saved the day for the high-profile team.

Sunil Chhetri had a clear look at the goal in the 11th minute. However, Gokulam keeper Nikhil Barnard effected a great save to deny the India striker.

Miku equalised in the 70th through a brilliant back heel pass from Udanta.
