KOCHI, Kerala: Chennaiyin FC B held Kerala Blasters FC Reserves to a goalless draw in Second Division I-League at the Panampilly Ground here on Monday.

Pragyan Gogoi missed a penalty for KBFC in the second half as both sides failed to find the finishing touch inside the box.

CFC B got off to a bright start and almost opened the scoring through Rohmingthanga in the seventh minute after the Mizo striker won the ball in the KBFC half and drew a sharp save out of Sujith.

With 15 minutes to go, CFC had the ball in the back of the net courtesy Bedashwor but it was disallowed as Suhail was deemed to have fouled the KBFC keeper in the build-up.

The second half ended much like the first, with both teams threatening to break the deadlock with counter-attacks, however failing to land the killer blow.

CFC B head back to Chennai with a point, aiming to notch their first win of the campaign on Saturday when they take on Bengaluru’s South United FC.
