KOLKATA, India: Newly-appointed Mohammedan Sporting head coach Subrata Bhattacharya had a meeting with club officials on Sunday where he shared his ideas for the new season.

Bhattacharya also received a list of 25 players which included Priyant Singh, Kamran Farooque, Satyam Sharma, Prosenjit Paul, Arthur Kouassi, Balwinder Singh, Firoz Ali, Mohammed Amirul, Moniruzzaman Ansari and Asif Ali Molla and Safiur Rahman.

The Black Panthers will begin their pre-season training from June 15. It will be followed by a month-long residential camp at Kalyani starting from July 1.

The former Mohun Bagan star has never coached Sporting in the past though he has guided the Mariners and East Bengal besides other clubs in the city.

Interestingly, the club has never won the local Calcutta Super Division league after 1981 and has struggled to qualify for I-League after 2013-14 season.
