QFA-Chelsea Foundation Coaching Clinic impart lessons to coaches, schools

DOHA, Qatar: The Qatar Football Association-Chelsea Foundation Coaching Clinic recently concluded at Aspire Academy following the last and final club session for the young players and local coaches.

The clinic wrapped up with a closing ceremony in which the players and coaches received certificates of participation.

The QFA Football Development Department presented coaches from Chelsea Foundation, representatives from Yokohama Tyres Middle East and Africa, representatives from Ali bin Khalifa Al Hitmi & Co., distributors of Yokohama Tyres appreciation shields for collaborating with the QFA to organise the coaching clinic.

The closing ceremony was attended by Mansoor Al Ansari, QFA General Secretary, Mohammed Al Hashmi, Manager and General Supervisor of the QFA-Chelsea Foundation Coaching Clinic from the QFA Football Development Department, Nawwaf Khalil, QFA-Chelsea Coaching Clinic Operations Manager, Zak Wooster, Head Coach at Chelsea Foundation.

“It’s been great to see the players showing their passion and love for football and demonstrating the skills and techniques that have been taught and developed,” said Wooster.

Chelsea Foundation Coaches delivered coaching on the opening day to children from more than 15 expatriate schools followed by intensive coaching clinics to promising young players representing clubs under QFA and coaching workshops to expat coaches.
