QSL, Qatar 2022 to organise football festival from tomorrow

DOHA: The Qatar Stars League (QSL) in collaboration with Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) and Ministry of Education and Higher Education will organise a football festival at the Yarmouk Preparatory School for Boys on November 21, which will mark the start date of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

QSL’s Executive Director of Marketing, Sales and Communications Hassan Rabia Al Kuwari, Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s Director of Public Relations and Communication Hassan Al Mohammadi, SC’s Head of Sports and Culture Ali Al Mahmoud and Yarmouk School Principal Ibrahim Al Eidan were present at the launch ceremony.

The school’s Sports Education Coordinator Abdullah Mubarak and Physical Education Teacher Khamis Mohammed Al Kuwari also attended the conference.

Al Kuwari pointed out that the QSL was glad to be partnering the SC, Ministry of Education and Higher Education ad Yarmouk school in organising such a good initiative.

“Community has an important place in the QSL’s commitment towards Corporate Social Responsibility. The great emphasis given to promote the culture of football in general and sports in general has made Doha a major sports hub.

“The QSL is a big partner in all events promoting football. We’ve been part of many events that involve the society and country. The festival will see the participation of a number of QNB Stars League stars,” said Al Kuwari.
