DOHA (Qatar): Al Duhail coach Walid Regragui hoped that his side will be able to stand against Al Wakrah in the second round match of Qatar Stars League tomorrow.
“It is a difficult match. We are happy to have won the opening match against Umm Salal and now we face Al Wakrah. They are a strong side,” said Walid.
“We know them well and the match will not be easy because Al Wakrah will enter the stadium on the back of a defeat. They are sure to come at us with all strength in order to achieve victory.”
“There was a decline in our performance in the last match and that happens normally. We must handle the next stage well because we will play the AFC Champions League matches every three days.
“We were looking for a player who knows the Qatar league and can adapt well. We were also looking for an Asian who could play in the AFC Champions League. That is how we contracted Iranian Ramin Rezaien. You know that he has high capabilities and I am happy with the spirit in which Ramin appeared. Everyone is happy to have him in the team and he will be a good addition to the team,” said Walid.
