DOHA (Qatar): The seventh Qatar International Boat Show (QIBS), sole grand luxury and unique craftsmanship products exhibition of Qatar, will be held from November 16 to 20.
“Some of the major boats exhibitions around the world are coming back. We in Qatar by the grace of Al Mighty God are also back and still able to sustain in organizing the seventh annual exhibition of the luxury yachts with consistence. The QIBS will be held in Porto Arabia,” said Khalid Hamad Issa Al Mannai, Chairman, Al Mannai Plus Events, at a press conference on Sunday.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the exhibition was postponed from March this year.
“We’re able to sustain in organising the event with the valuable support of our partners including the Ministry of Interior and the Coast Guard,” added Al Mannai.
Around 32 exhibitors will be showcasing various marine related products including the highly-skilled latest luxury models of yachts and boats.
Al Mannai said that the rapid growth despite the current geo-political challenges and severe impact of pandemic COVID-19 underlines economic strength and resilience under the wise leadership of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
He said that 2020 Qatar International Boat Show provides a single shopping window to the luxury lifestyle enthusiasts of the region, as well as it preserve century’s old relationship of natives with the sea in addition to its role in positioning Qatar as a regional hub for luxury, highly skilled craftsmanship and most modern boats and marine related accessories.
