DOHA (Qatar): Qatar’s under-23 national team coach Nicolas Cordova has named a 33-player squad for a two-week training camp that will include two friendlies against Kosovo.
The camp, which starts today, will help the team prepare for the for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers later this year in October.
Qatar U-23 squad will play two friendlies on March 27 and 29, and will be the first appearance of the squad under the new Chilean coach.
The two games will be held at Aspire Academy’s No. 4 pitch.
The players will return to their clubs on March 31 for the Qatargas U-23 League.
Al Gharafa and Al Wakra players will join the national team’s training camp on March 17 after the end of the preponed match between the two sides in Round 21 of the QNB Stars League.
