DOHA: Al Sadd beat Al Shahaniya on Monday 5-1 to book their place in 51st Amir Cup final here at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.
Former Spain international Santi Cazorla (18th & 32nd minute) and Algerian international Baghdad Bounedjah scored twice for Al Sadd while Ayoub El Kaabi opened the scoring in the 26th.
Bounedjah scored in the 88th and 90+4 minutes respectively.
Birahim Gaye scored Al Shahaniya’s only goal in the 50th minute.
Al Arabi will take on Al Sailiya on Tuesday in the second semifinal.
The final will be held at the Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium on June 12.
