PARIS: France national team captain Kylian Mbappe has announced that he will continue playing with Paris Saint-Germain next season.
Mbappe, 24, said in statements: “I am happy … and I will stay here next season,” adding: “It is my pleasure to leave my name in the history of the French League championship.”
Mbappe on Sunday won the French League Player of the Year award, presented by the French Association of Professional Players, for the fourth time in a row.
The contract of the star striker expires with his club in the summer of 2024, with a clause allowing their contract to be extended for a third season, until 2025.
