Hangzhou (China): Qatar beach volleyball team qualified for the quarterfinals at the 19th Asian Games by beating the Philippines on Friday.
Qatar currently tops Group B.
The Qatari team, consisting of the duo Sherif Younis and Ahmed Tijan, excelled in the match for both halves without any difficulty.
The duo succeeded in ending the first half with a 12-point lead with a score of 21-9 before wrapping up the match 21-7. Qatar has earlier beat Indonesia.
