DOHA: The local organizing committee for AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 announced that 90,000 tickets have been sold within the first 24 hours of a second batch being released on November 19. Fans from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and India bought the majority of tickets offered.
In addition to the tournament opener between Qatar and Lebanon, scheduled for January 12, at the iconic Lusail Stadium, the match between Saudi Arabia and Oman led ticket sales.
Qatar will host the tournament from January 12 to February 10, 2024, in nine stadiums, seven of which hosted matches for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The first phase saw the sale of over 81,000 tickets within the first 24 hours of the sales launch on October 10.
With the longest distance between stadiums just 75 klm, both fans and players can stay in one location throughout the tournament.
Fans will also enjoy a seamless experience as the tournament’s stadiums, main activity sites, and cultural events are connected by a robust metro system and modern road network.
All match tickets for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 are digital and can be downloaded and presented on any mobile device. Hayya will not be a mandatory prerequisite to enter stadiums.
