Harbin, China: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today received the flag of the Olympic Council of Asia, signifying the official handover for the 10th Asian Winter Games to be held in Trojena, NEOM, as the first country in West Asia to host this continental sporting event.
The flag handover took place during the closing ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games, held today at the Harbin International Conference Exhibition and Sports Center, in the presence of officials and representatives from 45 Asian countries. His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and head of the Saudi delegation at the Games, received the Asian flag from the Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia, Mr. Timothy Tsun Ting FOK.
