HYDERABAD (India): Mohammedan Sporting will look to record their fourth straight win in the 2nd Division League when they face Hyderabad FC Reserves at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium on Wednesday.
The Black Panthers faces a challenge of keeping up the momentum in the league.
“Winning is always great and it is understandable that it gives the players a different confidence. But we don’t want our players to be relaxed and our aim is to keep improving with every single game,” Mohammedan technical director Dipendu Biswas told the club’s website.
“We are not getting ahead of ourselves. I am taking each game as it comes. We need to keep concentrated and focused on the task at hand, and make sure that we play the next game in the best way possible,” he added.
Mohammedan are enjoying a good run in all competitions, with six matches won in a row.
“I don’t look at that. Our focus is on the tomorrow’s match,” said the former India international.
“We are here to do business,” comments Biswas about tomorrow’s encounter. “We don’t check too much on what other teams are doing, we are solely focused on our own game plan. We are looking forward to a good encounter, Hyderabad won’t allow us a walk in the park in their own backyard.”
“The facilities are fine and are conducive to play our game of football,” said Biswas.
