Buraidah (Saudi Arabia): Al Duhail head coach Hernan Crespo exuded confidence that his team will continue to maintain winning run when they take on Saudi Arabia’s Al Taawoun in Group D match of AFC Champions League tomorrow.
Crespo said his team has a difficult confrontation against the Saudi club but the players will try to come up with a positive result that will help them qualify for the next round.
“We showed a good performance against them in the last meeting. The team as a whole is performing well on the field. We have to play with a lot of determination and desire to win in order to maintain our position at the top of the group,” said the former Argentine star.
“This tournament is very difficult. Our next match will be against a team whose only option is to win.”
Al Duhail lead the group with nine points followed by Al Taawoun (7 points), Iran’s Sepahan Isfahan (4) and Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor (3).
