DOHA (Qatar): Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal arrived in Doha last night ahead of their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019.
Al Hilal qualified by winning the AFC Champions League after beating Japan’s Urawa Reds 3-0 on aggregate across a two-legged final last month.
The Saudi side will play their first match at the second-round against Esperance Tunis, winners of the CAF Champions League.
The winner of this match, taking place on Saturday at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, will face CONMEBOL Libertadores winners CR Flamengo.
“I’m proud to be here and participate with my team at the Club World Cup. We will do our best to perform well,” said Hilal coach Razvan Lucescu.
