DOHA (Qatar): Friday’s Big Tour class winner Hamad Nasser Al Qadi will look to finish the season on a high on Saturday the final day of the fourth edition of the Longines Qatar Equestrian Tour Hathab.
At the Longines Indoor Arena of Al Shaqab, Al Qadi and his nine-year-old mare Gibria-B secured a thrilling win in the 145cm class of the Big Tour. The pair clocked at time 64.87 seconds, 0.12 seconds better then second-placed combination of Mohamed Saeed Haidan and D Saucedo
Having won the His Highness The Amir Sword equestrian championship Al Qadi will looking to bag another title on Saturday.
In the other competitions on Friday, Cyrine Cherif astride Brennus Villelongue finished on top in the Medium Tour followed by Rashid Towaim Al Marri and Jaber Rashid Al Amri.
In the Small Tour, Khalifa Abdulla Al Khaldi topped followed by Alqaqa Adel Nassar and Mohamed Jabor Al Naimi in the third.
