DOHA (Qatar): The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) will hold its Executive Committee here from December 20-22, the AGCFF said.
During the meeting, the bid files for 25th Guff Cup will be discussed in a committee headed by Dr. Jassim Al Shukaily, Vice President of the AGCFF.
The Gulf Cup is scheduled to be held during December 2021 or the month that follows or according to the opinion of the Executive Office.
The Gulf Cup includes Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Iraq and Yemen.
The contents of the bid files will be discussed extensively following which the committee will decide to pass its recommendations to the Executive Committee.
“The AGCFF has extended invitations to all members to attend the meeting. We are expecting the delegations to arrive before the specified date,” said Jassem Al Rumaihi, AGCFF Secretary General.
The AGCFF’s meeting will be chaired by Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the AGCFF, to discuss the topics on its agenda most notably the reports of the committees, including the Gulf Regulatory File Committee 25 and the approval of the minutes.
“When the host country for the 25th Gulf Cup is announced, whether at the next meeting or at any other time, an inspection committee will be formed to carry out tours to see the facilities of countries wanting to bid for the event. The match stadiums and infrastructure of every bidding will be inspected.”
