DOHA: The 2025 WTT season just got even more exciting! World Table Tennis has announced two new stops on the WTT Series calendar—Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Muscat, Oman—alongside a thrilling double-header in Spokane, Washington, as part of the WTT Feeder Series.
From the electrifying passion of South America to a high-stakes desert showdown in the Middle East, and a platform for emerging talent in North America, these additions bring fresh energy and intensity to a season already set to redefine the game.
Kicking things off is the debut of WTT Contender Buenos Aires 2025, lighting up the Parque Olímpico from 22–27 July 2025.
Slated immediately after the historic first edition of the US Smash, this marks a powerful one-two punch for the Americas. Buenos Aires is ready to bring the heat — with global stars, vibrant local fans, and the city’s trademark passion all set to collide in a week of world-class action.
“On behalf of the Argentine Table Tennis Federation, we are proud to host this important event in our country. Argentina has always been a land of resilience, passion, and global sporting icons — and we’re ready to bring that same spirit to the world of table tennis.
“We will work hard to ensure the athletes enjoy both the event and the warmth of our beautiful capital. The culture, the barbecue, and the best table tennis in the world await you all in Buenos Aires from 22 to 27 July,” said Fernando Joffre, President, Argentine Table Tennis Federation.
