DOHA: Defending champions Al Hilal will take on Urawa Red Diamonds in AFC Champions League 2022 final after the Saudi side hammered Qatar’s Al Duhail 7-0 semifinal win at Al Thumama Stadium on Sunday.
Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo scored four including a second-minute strike that opened the floodgates later.
Al Hilal will host the first leg of the final in Riyadh on April 29 before travelling to Japan to take on Urawa at Saitama Stadium on May 6.
The ruthless display here will give the four-time winners loads of confidence.
Al Duhail was hit by the late withdrawal due to injury of talismanic Belgian Edmilson Junior.
