DOHA (Qatar): FirstPoint USA, the world’s leading authority in American sports and academic scholarships, will hold its first-ever assessment trials in Qatar and Kuwait.
The trial day in Kuwait is open to male and female footballers, basketball players and volleyball players and will also provide general information on studying in the US.
The Qatar event is open to male and female footballers and rugby players.
As the official recruitment partner of American college governing body the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletes (NAIA), FirstPoint is responsible for sourcing high quality sporting and academic talent to gain scholarships to study in the States.
Working with 2,500 US colleges and universities since 2001, to date FirstPoint has secured more than $200 million in scholarship awards for approximately 12,000 athletes.
The inaugural assessment events in Qatar take place on December 12 with the football trial at Doha College (Al Waab) in the afternoon while rugby trial takes place at Doha Rugby Club in evening.
