DOHA: India’s Pankaj Advani won the Asian Billiards Championship here on Friday.
Advani defeated compatriot Dhruv Sitwala by 6-2 in the final, which lasted for three and a half hours.
The Indian deservedly won the title after leading the first group with three wins that helped him qualify for the knockout stages.
A total 13 players from India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and South Korea took part in the competition that was hosted by Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation.
