DOHA (Qatar): Juventus star Sami Khedira is likely to quit the Italian side at the end of the season and join a Qatari club.
According to Italian media, the German midfielder is currently is recuperating from an injury suffered at the end of the season, and may follow former Juventus stars Mario Mandzukic and Mahdi Benatia who also played in the Qatar Stars League (QSL).
The 33-year-old has a contract with Juventus until June 2021.
Reports revealed that Juventus want to get rid of more than one player in the current summer transfer market as the administration wants to reduce the average age of players on the team, and wants to sell more than one player.
According to one Italian newspaper, the club has prepared a list of 8 players including Khedira, who will be sold in the summer transfer.
