MANJERI: Mohammedan Sporting Club emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Super League Kerala All Stars in an exhibition match at the Payyanad Stadium on Friday.
This match, organized as part of the relief efforts for the recent Wayanad landslide, saw all proceeds dedicated to aiding those affected by the disaster.
Mohammedan Sporting Club took an early lead when Remsanga scored in the 21st minute. Despite a resilient effort from the Super League Kerala All Stars, it was Abdul Kadiri’s decisive goal in the 75th minute that secured the win for Mohammedan Sporting Club, making the final score 2-1.
The exhibition match not only showcased an exciting display of football but also highlighted the spirit of solidarity as the entire revenue generated will go towards the Wayanad Relief Aid, providing much-needed support to the affected communities.
