KARACHI: Henry Shipley and Rachin Ravindra picked three wickets apiece as New Zealand bundled out Pakistan for 252 runs to win the fifth ODI by 47 runs at National Stadium on Sunday.
Earlier, opener Will Young and Tom Latham cracked solid half centuries as the guests were bowled out for 299.
Seeking a consolatory win after trailing 4-0, New Zealand’s innings was built around Young’s 91-ball 87 and a 58-ball 59 from Latham after the visitors won the toss and opted to bat.
The win helped the Blackcaps avoid a clean sweep as the Babar Azam-led side won it 4-1.
