DOHA: The Qatari 3×3 basketball team has advanced to the quarterfinals of the 8th edition of the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup in Singapore.
The Qatari team began their journey in the tournament with a 21-16 victory over Vietnam in the first game of Group D, and lost the second round match to New Zealand 15-17.
The team are scheduled to meet their Chinese counterpart on March 30.
The tournament is witnessing the participation of 48 teams from across the continent, in both the men’s and women’s categories.
The Qatari 3×3 basketball team roster includes: Nadeem Muslik, Ahmed Saeed Mohammed, Aladji Magasa, and Mohammed Hashem.
