Doha: The 2024-2025 Qatar Basketball League season resumes tomorrow (Wednesday) with two crucial matchups at the QBF Indoor Hall.
Qatar Club will take on Al Ahli at 8:30 PM, followed by a late-night clash between Al Khor and Al Shamal at 10:30 PM.
On Thursday, the action continues with Al Wakrah facing Al Rayyan, while Al Gharafa will battle Al Arabi in matchups that could significantly impact the league standings.
Al Rayyan currently lead the table with 26 points from 14 matches, maintaining a strong position at the top. Al Arabi sit in second with 23 points from 13 games, closely followed by Al Sadd, who also have 23 points but from 14 matches.
Al Shamal and Al Ahli are tied in fourth and fifth place, each with 21 points from 13 games, while Qatar SC and Al Gharafa share the sixth and seventh spots with 17 points from 13 matches.
Al Wakrah, positioned eighth with 14 points from 14 games, will be looking to improve their standing in the coming rounds. At the bottom of the table, Al Khor, currently in ninth place with 15 points from 13 matches, will be eager to turn their season around.
With the league entering a crucial phase, Al Rayyan will look to extend their lead, while Al Arabi and Al Sadd aim to close the gap. Meanwhile, Al Shamal, Al Ahli, and Qatar SC will be pushing to climb the standings as the competition intensifies.
