DOHA: Qatar will face Vietnam today in the 8th FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup, currently held in Singapore and due to continue until March 30.
Qatar were drawn in Group D along with Vietnam and New Zealand.
The event brings together 48 teams from across the continent in both men’s and women’s competitions.
The Qatari national team aims to deliver a distinguished performance that reflects the development of basketball in Qatar and enhances its continental standing in this category.
The Qatari 3×3 basketball team includes players Nadim Muslik, Ahmed Saeed Mohammed, Aladji Magassa, and Mohammed Hashem.
The team have completed physical and technical preparations under the supervision of the technical staff, which is paying great attention to tactical and technical aspects to ensure the players’ readiness for tough competition against the best Asian teams.
The Qatari team will also face New Zealand Friday in the second match in Group D. (QNA)
