DOHA (Qatar): Al Debaran led by Muhammad Nasser Al Muhannadi won the third round of Qatar Traditional Sailing Championship organized by the Doha Marine Sports Club at the Katara Beach on Saturday.
The events of the postponed round, which was held over two exciting and challenging periods, witnessed eight participants fight to win the honour in the course of two races.
The perfect wind speed had contributed to igniting the fierce competition among all, hoping to win and rise to the top of this exciting round.
Al Dabran team, led by Al Muhannadi, won the first place in the overall standings with 35 points — 15 in first and 20 in the second — followed by Al-Mahmal crew led by Fahd Muhammad Al-Maliki with 21 points.
