DOHA: The Qatari national 3×3 basketball team is gearing up for a formidable challenge at the eighth edition of the 3×3 Asian Basketball Cup, set to take place in Singapore from March 26 to 30, 2025. This premier tournament is renowned as one of Asia’s largest and most significant sporting events, drawing 48 teams from across the continent into a competitive battle for the championship title.
Before the official matches commence, the tournament will kick off with a qualifying draw on March 26 and 27. This critical phase will determine the final line-up of teams for the main competitions in both the men’s and women’s categories. For Qatar, the draw has placed the national team in Group D alongside New Zealand and the team that emerges from the qualifiers. This grouping presents a considerable challenge as the team aims to secure a spot in the advanced stages of the tournament.
