DURBAN: South Africa are set to host India for three Tests and as many ODIs between December 2021 and January 2022.
What was initially scheduled to be a three-format tour has now been reduced to just Test and ODIs. The four-match T20I series will now be played at a more suitable time next year.
The three Tests will be contested under the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23.
The Proteas will play their first series in the current iteration of WTC while India are currently placed third in the standings after their 1-0 win over New Zealand.
