DOHA: The Qatar Table Tennis Association (QTTA) has officially launched ticket sales for the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships 2025, set to take place in Doha from May 17-25, 2025. This marks the second time Qatar will host the prestigious event, following its historic debut in 2004 as the first global table tennis tournament in the Middle East.
QTTA reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a world-class tournament, emphasizing that Doha is ready to make history once again after 21 years. The 2025 edition promises high-intensity competition, featuring five marquee events: Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
All singles matches will follow a best-of-seven games format, while doubles matches will be contested in a best-of-five format, ensuring top-tier action throughout the tournament.
QTTA also confirmed that tickets for the championship finals are now available via Q-Tickets. Meanwhile, media accreditation is open for local and international journalists covering the event, with applications closing on April 9.
