DOHA: LIV Golf star Peter Uihlein of the USA was at his level best on Saturday afternoon at The International Series Qatar to annex the title with a five-shot victory at Doha Golf Club.
The American had held the lead since the second round.
Uihlein claimed his second International Series win of the year on the Asian Tour after he fought off the challenges of fellow LIV golfers Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen
The American shot a final-round 3-under 69 to finish at 16 under to move to number one on The International Series Rankings.
South African Stinger GC member Charl Schwartzel came home in second place after a 68 while his team captain Louis Oosthuizen tied for third two shots back with Filipino Miguel Tabuena.
