DOHA: Liverpool stars Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah are among the stars who will be seen in action at the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019.
FIFA’s premier club competition starts here on December 11.
Seven participating teams are Liverpool, Flamengo, Monterrey, Esperance Sportive de Tunis, Al Hilal, Hienghene Sport and host side Al Sadd, who have announced their squads on Thursday.
Fans across Qatar are eagerly awaiting to catch the action that will be played at three stadiums — Education City Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium and Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
With 161 players from 32 different countries, the tournament will certainly bring with it a global feel.
As many as 18 players have participated in the tournament before including Al Sadd and Monterrey captains Hassan Al Haidous Jose Maria Basanta, who played in 2011 edition.
Local and international fans are encouraged to visit FIFA.com/tickets on Thursday as an additional batch of tickets will be made available.
Tickets are affordably priced in three categories, ranging from QAR 25 for Category 3 tickets for the first three match days up to QAR 400 for Category 1 tickets for the final double-header.
In cases, where two matches are played on the same day at the same stadium (double-headers), each ticket will provide access to both matches.
