COLOMBO: Jeffrey Vandersay picked six wickets as Sri Lanka defeated India by 32 runs in the second ODI of the three-match series here on Sunday.
In the chase of 241-run targer, India were bowled out for 208. Rohit departed at the score of 64 off 44 balls but other Indian batters failed to play promising knocks.
Earlier, Washinton Sundar starred with figures of 3 for 30 as India restricted Sri Lanka to 240 for 9 .
Washington was the pick of the bowlers for India with three wickets to his name while Kuldeep Yadav also clinched two wickets (2 for 33). For Sri Lanka, Avishka Fernando scored and Kamindu Mendis scored 40 runs each.
